Adrian Francu thought Vlad Muresan’s way of thinking and talking would fit like a glove with our mindit chats series, and he was spot on!
Let’s see what Vlad had to say. Does he feel the same?
I wouldn’t say that there’s something unique about mindit.io, but I would say that mindit.io is in that elite category of amazing workplaces.
It’s definitely one of those places you tell your friends about, and you would really like to work here. That’s for sure.
I feel like I have really developed my skills during the past year and a couple of months since I joined the team. Especially here, since there’s a high focus placed on MySQL, and I feel like I can continuously improve my professional skills.
I keep learning and improving, and lifelong learning is not only a part of mindit.io’s culture, is also something I personally believe in.
I really appreciate my team and I felt like I’ve taken the right decision to join mindit.io straight from the start.
As a general rule, I think that you can be a part of an objectively cool company, but you can be unfortunate and land on a “not-so-cool” team or project, and that could ruin the whole experience for you.
However, at mindit.io, I feel like all the teams are awesome and exciting to be a part of, at least from what I’ve seen so far and the discussions I’ve had with other people.
The atmosphere we have during daily, or weekly calls, is just as thrilling and exciting as the one we have at parties where we get to interact more with one another with colleagues located from all over the country and abroad.
An ideal day for me is one where everything is in a continuous flow.
First of all, I like it when the weather outside is nice and shiny. That really affects my mood, and I tend to be more productive when the sun is shining. I start my days with a small breakfast, drink a glass of lemon water and then I read my emails.
I make my daily schedule based on the tasks I have, I join the daily call and if there are things I can work on without any blockers, then that’s what I call a good day, my friend!
I’d say that my team is full of nice and open-minded people! You could be a part of a team filled with cool people, but if they’re not open-minded or friendly, you’re not going to feel like you’re part of one united group.
I’m lucky that that’s not the case in my team, as we always laugh and have fun together and there’s always something to talk about whenever we get together or during our daily and weekly calls.
The fact that you can work from anywhere you choose to is amazing. That’s my favorite thing. I’m a simple guy and I don’t have many requirements, so being able to work from home is truly amazing.
When you’re working on interesting projects alongside cool people, you really can’t complain. It’s truly awesome to start your workday from wherever you decide to.
I would advise anyone thinking about joining the team to keep learning because you should always stay updated with all the latest developments in the IT sector.
It’s a constantly changing industry, and you need to read up to keep up. Also, don’t be afraid to come up with new ideas and to be able to sustain them if they are challenged.
If we make mistakes, we learn. So don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because they are part of the learning process.
Have a look at our OPEN ROLES, and apply today! There’s always room for cool and talented people at mindit.io! Trust me, I know them!
I would’ve studied medicine, but I get sick the moment I see blood. I’m afraid that my patients would have to wake me up during the operation: “Doctor, you fainted! Are you ok?”
What I could do without losing my conscience could be something in biotech where I could blend medicine and programming. That would be a winner for me in an alternative universe, or who knows?
In my spare time, I like to think about ways of making money. All joking aside, I find looking for investment opportunities really interesting and I love reading about whatever I get my hands on about this subject.
I also read a lot about oriental religions from the Far East and I can clearly see that there’s a lot of psychology behind their writings. What’s different is that they also have a spirituality layer, which has nothing to do with psychology.
From time to time, I also read The Stoics, just to catch up on some of the wisdom that came from our part of the world.
Other than that, I watch Netflix whenever there’s a show everybody’s talking about, just to see what’s all the buzz behind it.
One important thing I try to implement is having a healthy lifestyle and watching what I eat; I do a little physical movement because I believe it’s equally important to mind your mind and to mind your body.
I would like to tag Ionut Pacureanu because it’s going to be really interesting to see how he will answer these questions. He has a strange way of joking while staying serious, and he told me that not even his wife can tell when he’s joking or not. So Ionut, TAG, you’re it!
