For this role: you’ll start working for a USA-based company in the Computer and Electronics Manufacturing industry, to help build innovative automotive In Cabin sensing solutions for the safety of car drivers and passengers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the project stakeholders (customers, product owners, requirements managers), to analyze and clarify the Software requirements
• Work with the project manager, to define and estimate the development activities and timelines
• Define optimal architecture and develop embedded software components, by working with the cross-functional team (machine learning engineers, software engineers, test engineers)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, by participating in audits and by working with the process manager to define and implement improvement plans

What are we looking for?

• Demonstrated software development background using C / C++  
• Good understanding of software design patterns
• Fluency in English
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols (TCP, sockets)
• Multithreading knowledge
• Basic OOP exposure

Nice to have:

• Experience with Automotive platforms (e.g., Qualcomm Snapdragon) and operating systems (Linux, QNX)
• Knowledge of software integration of machine learning models
• Working experience with camera pipelines
• Python scripting knowledge
• Targeting real-time, multicore platforms, by following Automotive development standards, such as A-SPICE, ISO 26262, Misra-C
• Availability to travel, when necessary  

Education:

• Master's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
