For this role: You’ll start working for a USA-based company in the Computer and Electronics Manufacturing industry, to help build innovative automotive In Cabin sensing solutions for the safety of car drivers and passengers. Having existing automotive solutions in production, we are growing our European team to support increasing demand.

Responsibilities:

• Contribution to the development of the test plans and test specifications
• Implementation of test cases for embedded libraries and applications, maintaining traceability to the software requirements and design
• Running the test cases in a continuous integration environment
• Creation of detailed test reports
• Participates in internal and external process audits
• Contributes to continuous process improvement
• Continues to develop its own skills and knowledge
• Travels to customers or other client sites, as necessary

What are we looking for?

• Solid previous experience as a software test engineer
• Experience with C/C++, and embedded operating systems (e.g., Linux, QNX, Android)
• Experience with source control systems (Git), continuous integration systems (Jenkins), and software analysis tools (Coverity)
• Familiarity with software test frameworks (Gtest, Unity, CMock)
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience with embedded machine learning software testing in the domain of computer vision
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with Automotive development standards (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262)
